Orange Fest (March 14th) – This event in Rhodes is held in Massari village in the monastery of St. John and participants can taste many sweets and various dishes made by orange.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15th) - This is a public holiday and is celebrated with great pomp in many villages of Rhodes, in Afandou, in Ialysos, in Kalithies, in Kataria with violins and clarinets and in Embona with food and folk instruments.
In Kremasti the feast is one of the biggest events of Rhodes and lasts for 9 days from 14 until August 23rd.

Wine Festival of Emponas (First week of September) – Locals celebrate the wine festival with songs, dance and food in the traditional village of Empona that is located in the tallest mountain of Rhodes, Attavyros.
Feast of Panagia Tsampika "Virgin Mary Tsampika" (September 8th) - It is one of the most important festivals of Rhodes. The locals celebrate the birth of Virgin Mary in the monastery of Panagia Tsampika and many pilgrims come to worship the Virgin Mary.
